1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to MyKitchen AI. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you as the user ("you," "your") and us ("we," "us," "our," "MyKitchen AI Team"). By accessing or using our application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately cease using the application.

2. Service Description

MyKitchen AI is an application that uses artificial intelligence to provide recipe suggestions, smart analytics, and other features to assist you in your meal planning and cooking. The service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

  • Account Creation: To use certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Paid Subscriptions: The app offers paid subscription plans ("Subscription") that provide access to additional features. All payments are processed through your platform's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can manage your subscription and cancel auto-renewal through your app store account settings after purchase.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The application and all its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and AI-generated recipes, are our exclusive property and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app in accordance with these Terms.

5. User Conduct and Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the application for any of the following activities:

  • For any illegal purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • To attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app's code.
  • To use any automated means (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access the app or extract data.
  • To interfere with the proper functioning of the app or its servers.

6. Disclaimers

  • The application and its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind.
  • The recipes and nutritional information provided through the app are for informational purposes only. You should use your own judgment and consult with a qualified professional (such as a doctor or nutritionist) if you have any health concerns or dietary restrictions.
  • We assume no liability for the outcome of any recipe you prepare, any allergic reactions, or any other issues that may arise from using the information provided in the app.
  • AI Hallucinations: AI-generated content in the app, including recipes, suggestions, and nutritional information, may contain errors, inaccuracies, or illogical information ("AI hallucinations"). You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and safety of any recipe before preparing it. You should review ingredients, cooking methods, temperatures, and cooking times to ensure they are appropriate and safe for consumption.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall we, our directors, or employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the application.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including for any violation of these Terms. You may terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account and ceasing to use the app.

9. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will inform you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top or through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
